We use only quality materials from repeatable companies that have been in the game for years, only using suppliers that provided limited and lifetime warranties on their products. Below we have some more information to see if what type of decking is right for you.

COMPOSITE DECKING

Composite decking comes in many different styles and colors and is a great alternative to the traditional wooden decking, it is made up of plastic and wooden fibers to replicate real wood. There are many pros when it comes to choosing composite decking. This wooden alternative is very low maintenance material just requiring a simple wash every now and then. Composite decking is also very good at keeping its color and very weather resistant. It is not prone to cracking, splitting, or warping as its wooden counterpart. With all this in mind we would be more than happy to weigh the cost versus the benefits and see what decking material is right for you.

WOODEN DECKING

Wood decking is still a very popular option and preferred by many customers due its classic warm appearance. Take nothing away from its quality as it can last up to 50 years depending on the type of wood. We use pressure-treated wood as it is fir soaked in anti-rot and insecticide agents to help protect your longtime investment. Like it’s composite counterpart there are many different options such as pine, cedar, and redwood. While the sturdy pressure treated pine is a great and budget friendly option, we do recommend cedar and redwood. Cedar and red redwood are stronger, resistant to warping, cracking, and other weather damage. If you want the best of the best, maybe Brazilain wood decking is right for you. Brazilian wood shares all the same characteristics as cedar and redwood but it is much stronger, therefore more durable. Unlike composite decks you can paint or stain your new deck adding a touch of customization. We would be more than happy to weigh your options with you and see if a wooden deck is right for you.
